Packers offensive and defensive lines grapple over new kind of title in Titletown
OL David Bakhtiari and DL Mike Daniels “feud” on social media.
The Green Bay Packers’ offensive and defensive lines are grappling over a new kind of title in Titletown.
David Bakhtiari, the Packers’ Pro Bowl left tackle, had that championship belt made during the offseason to serve as a prize for drill work between the lines during training camp. He even got the Packers’ name emblazoned on the belt.
Bakhtiari called out Packers defensive lineman Mike Daniels on his Instagram post. The belt made its debut on Saturday for the first practice in pads during training camp. The offense appeared to keep the belt following the spirited practice.
Daniels praised Bakhtiari for showing leadership by coming up with the friendly competition. He also intends to have the defense claim the belt when the Packers practice again on Monday.
