Bucks play again 7 p.m. tonight on ESPN2

LAS VEGAS — In his first two games in the NBA’s Summer League, Bronson Koenig has played a limited role.

At 7 p.m. tonight on ESPN2, Koenig and the Bucks will wrap up the pool-play portion of Vegas Summer League against the Clippers.

In Koenig’s Bucks debut – 29-point blowout to the Cavs – the La Crosse native shot 1-for-6, including 0-for-5 from beyond the arc in 16 minutes. The only other stat he recorded was two rebounds.

“I’m adjusting just fine,” Koenig told Madison.com after the debut. “It’s definitely an adjustment. Guys are just older, quicker, faster.”

Koenig’s first time in a Bucks uniform didn’t live up to the letter he wrote to GMs before the NBA draft on the Player’s Tribune website saying, “I’m the best shooter in this year’s draft class.”

Sunday, Koenig did hit his first 3-pointer. He went 1-for-3 from the field and 1-for-2 from deep. The only other stat he recorded was two turnovers.
