Irony was in full play, as the video caught Pittsburgh coach Mike Tomlin talking about keeping a low profile heading into its matchup with the New England Patriots.
“Let’s say very little moving forward. Let’s start our preparations,” Tomlin said in his postgame speech. “We spotted those a******* a day and a half. They played yesterday. Our game got moved to tonight. We gonna touch down at 4 o’clock in the f****** morning. So be it. We’ll be ready for that ass. But you ain’t gotta tell them we coming … Keep a low profile.”

At his weekly press conference Monday, Tomlin spoke out about Brown’s actions.
“I’ll be bluntly honest here,” Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said. “It was foolish of him to do that. It was selfish for him to do that, and it was inconsiderate of him to do that. Not only is it a violation of our policy, it’s a violation of league policy – both of which he knows. There are consequences to be dealt with from his perspective.”
Of course, the punishment won’t come in the form of a suspension. More likley, a fine.
Tom Brady, asked about Brown’s actions had this to say on WEEI: “That’s against our team policy, so I don’t think that would go over well with our coach,” Brady said. “Every coach has a different style. Our coach, he’s been in the league for 42 years and he’s pretty old school.
“He’s not into social media and I think he lets everyone know that. I think our team has a policy, we don’t show anything that should be private because he feels when we are inside our stadium, inside the walls, there has to be a degree of privacy that we have. What’s done in the locker room should stay in the locker room.”
