CBS and NBC will air games
SAN FRANCISCO – As if football wasn’t horrendous enough on Thursdays, the NFL has added even more games that night for a few weeks next season.
“Thursday Night Football” will air on both CBS and NBC next season.
The NFL agreed to a two-year deal with both networks, adding NBC while continuing the same deal it had with CBS.
NBC will now get five Thursday games. All games will be simulcast on the NFL Network.
The NFL will still televise eight games exclusively on the NFL Network, which will include late-season Saturday matchups and other to-be-determined games.
