Cale Zuiker is averaging 24 points a game, while David Shepard is at 20.3.
Those two will meet tonight in the Crosstown Classic at Mitchell Hall, as the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse men’s basketball team hosts Viterbo University.

The Eagles (2-1) won last year, 68-59. In fact, they’ve won 10 consecutive games over the V-Hawks (3-4) and hold a 15-10 all-time series lead.
Behind UW-L’s Zuiker and Viterbo’s Shepard, both teams have secondary options that can carry a team.
La Crosse’s Cameron Skylar is coming off a 30-point effort – combined with Zuiker’s 27- in an 80-67 win over Carthage.
Both those players love to bomb from beyond the arc. They’re a combined 23-for-50 on the season.
The V-Hawks have won two out of their last three games. Shepard, a 6-foot-6 sophomore forward, has led the team in scoring in all but two games this season – both of those losses, including to Bethel where he scored just five points.
Shepard also averages nine rebounds, while teammate Alex Diciaula is second on the team in scoring, averaging 16.
