    Baseball has to be fixed.

Not the slow play. Not the ridiculous salaries. Not even the drug testing.

What needs to be fixed – along with those – are the consequences.

    Brewers, Twins all-stars

The Minnesota Twins have three all-stars: catcher Joe Mauer, reliever Glen Perkins and outfielder Carlos Gomez.

Oh, wait. Gomez is a Milwaukee Brewer now, that’s right.

It is a little funny that two of the lowliest teams in the majors each have two all-stars. The Brewers other all-star for tonight’s game is Jean Segura.

The Milwaukee Bucks point guard options got a bit thinner Saturday.

Atlanta’s 25-year-old point guard, Jeff Teague, will be retained. The Hawks matched the Bucks’ four-year, $32 million offer.

Now, it’s back to disgruntled Brandon Jennings, who, sources have said, does not want to play in Milwaukee next season.

    Nobody wants Brandon Jennings.

Not even the Milwaukee Bucks … hopefully.

    It’s time to clean house.

The Brewers are awful. Big surprise. They have the fourth-worst record in baseball (35-51) behind the Miami Marlins (32-54), Houston Astros (32-56) and Chicago White Sox (34-50).

They aren’t going to win anything any time soon and the couple studs they have are in their prime. But if they’re not winning with them now, then it’s time to ship them, right?

Goodbye J.J. Hello O.J. ... Mayo that is.

The Milwaukee Bucks have reportedly signed shooting guard O.J. Mayo on Wednesday, a day after trading shooting guard J.J. Reddick.

Game 7: This is all I wanted, one game for the championship.

It makes you kind of wish every sport had a one-game playoff like the two most popular postseasons – the NFL and the NCAA men’s basketball tournament.

But, here we go, one game between two teams that are so unalike.

Miami to cover Green ... now

    It’s all over.

The San Antonio run to a fifth NBA Championship since 1999 ends tonight.

It’s Game 6. The Spurs have a 3-2 series lead over the Miami Heat. And Danny Green was on his way to being the Finals MVP, mainly because he’s currently 25-for-38 from beyond the arc, but not anymore. None of that matters now. Now that Chris Bosh has spoken.

"He has a knack for shooting, but he won't be open tonight," Bosh said Tuesday. "We'll see how he shoots with somebody always on him."
