    BANGOR, Wis. – Nobody told Pepin/Alma high schools' football team it wasn’t supposed to win this game. Nobody told the Eagles that Bangor had only given up a touchdown in the first quarter all season. Nobody told them they were the underdog.

    Pepin/Alma blew out Bangor on Friday, 42-13 in the WIAA Division 7 state quarterfinals.

    PLAYOFFS: Bauer leads Caledonia to state semis

    ROCHESTER, Minn. – The Caledonia High School football team is two wins away from its sixth state title since 2007.

    The No. 2-ranked Warriors got a lead early Friday and held on, beating Maple lake 20-12 in the MSHSL Class 2A state quarterfinals at Rochester Technical and Community College.

    MADISON - It hasn’t been a very interesting ride to the state title game for the Pepin/Alma football team.

    The undefeated Eagles (13-0) have outscored their four playoff opponents 173-39.
