    Milwaukee Bucks midseason report

It’s been a dismal season for the Milwaukee Bucks.

    I know, “Thanks Captain Obvious.”

Some would argue, that’s a good thing, as the Bucks are the favorite for the NBA Draft Lottery so far with a 7-33 record – losing the last nine consecutive games.

But the way things are headed, this could have catastrophic consequences in the long run and things are getting worse.

The Winter Olympics are a bit weird to me. Weird, as in not at all. Weird as in ordinary, to a degree.

In a way, a person can really relate to the events – skiing, ice skating, sledding … OK, bobsledding.

One Top 10 team down this week, and the nation’s No. 1 to go.

The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse men’s basketball team bombed away from beyond the arc and put down the No. 7 team in the nation, UW-Whitewater.

It’s the week before the week before the Super Bowl.

    So, let’s talk Brewers baseball?

Thursday, it was reported the Milwaukee Brewers signed 30-year-old right-hander, Matt Garza, to a four-year, $52 million contract.

    Not so fast.

    The dumbest thing in sports

Sports are funny sometimes. Other times ...

A Super Bowl between the the only two states that legalized marijuana ...

A Pro Bowl that doesn't feature those teams or an all-star game that requires a player from every team ...

Is there anything dumber in sports than all-star games?

Then again, they are for 12-year-olds who don’t know anything about sports.

If there’s one thing I love about baseball, it’s listening to Bob Uecker talking about everything but baseball during a Milwaukee Brewers game.

And maybe he sprinkles in some in-game action, but I simply enjoy his humor and his stories, because 162 games is just a lot of the same to me when it comes to broadcasts.
